Approach
From my experience modeling for my father's photography master-classes, I have gained a unique perspective as a photographer, and an empathy for the subjects of my own portraits.
As a professional female photographer I feel naturally sympathetic to romance and beauty. My modern and imaginative style demonstrates classical posing and good composition at its core, with a sharp eye for the little details, a fleeting glance or a shared smile.
My dad once said to me I have the one thing you can't teach, and that is the natural ability to communicate well with people and make them feel at ease.
I pride myself on good service, quality and value for money. I use the best equipment and resources available to me, and strive to reflect your taste and personality in my images, prints, albums and presentation DVDs.
Types of Photography
From an early age my experience in photography has covered many different areas and genres, and has further grown to provide a wide range of skills and a comprehensive photographic service in County Mayo.
Wedding Photography
Traditional formal posed and group shots, contemporary candid and reportage style images, custom designed wedding albums, presentation DVDs and keepsakes.
Portrait Photography
Studio portraits, baby and child photography, family portraits, pet photography, school portraits and group portraits including event photography such as parties and reunions.
Fashion Photography
Model photography for awards, magazines, catalogues & portfolios. Advertising and product photography. Boudoir and glamour photography.
Commercial Photography
Product photography, either in studio or on location.
Press and Event Photography
Photojournalism, public relations and event photography, including commercial brochure and website photography for business promotion.

Jessica Priddy, LIPPA
Originally from London, I have been living in Mayo since 2001, and feel blessed to be settled in this beautiful place doing a job I love. I grew up in the photography business and was trained by late father before going on to qualify in Ireland in General Practise photography with the Irish Professional Photographers & Videographers Association back in 2010. As a young girl I initially helped in the studio and dark room of my father's photography business, and later in my teens assisted him on weddings and in the studio. Now that I have my own business and have won awards in wedding & portrait photography I feel that my early introduction and experience has proved invaluable in my career.
I have learnt there is much more to being a photographer than just taking the photos. Making a connection with people is SO important. Becoming part of a wedding day and blending in so that people feel at ease is what will achieve those natural genuine shots that everyone wants, and the same is important in the studio. Making it a warm, calm & friendly space is key to getting great shots of people of all ages. This isn't something that can be taught, it's something that comes with experience. Something that I’ve clocked up quite a lot of in the last thirteen years!
I also offer commercial services in the form of product, lifestyle, property & PR photography. Unlike many photographers I am lucky enough to have a street front studio on the Quay in Westport which means I am accessible to all my clients, commercial and social. Its convenience means anyone can call in to collect/drop off, look at my work or pick up information anytime that suits them.
